Are you thinking about becoming an Editor? Or maybe you are in your first junior editing role? Then this event is for you.
The Onion sessions will be run throughout the year for UK Screens members. They are aimed at junior staff and those just starting out in the industry giving a useful insight in to various aspects of TV and film industry. They will take the form of workshops, panel discussions and skills based sessions, looking at subject matter from acquisition through to delivery, giving you an insight in to the industry as a whole.

Editors at ENVY Post Production (voted Best Post Production House at the Broadcast Awards 2008) will give you the inside track on what technical and client facing skills are required to become a top editor whether your dream is to work in film, commercials, promos or episodic TV. You'll have plenty of time to ask them questions, find out the highs and lows of an editor's life!

Andrew Mitchell, Senior Editor. Andrew is a very experienced editor and previously worked at the Farm before joining ENVY in January this year. Luke Carter, Editor. Luke is a Junior On-Line Editor and worked his way up from a VT Operator. He joined ENVY when it opened in February 2006. Siobhan Leonard, Edit Assist. Siobhan is a very experienced Edit Assistant and joined us in August 2007 from the Farm. She is working towards becoming an Off Line Editor. Will Evans, Off Line Editor. Will was an AVID support assistant here at ENVY from the beginning and got promoted to Off Line Editor recently.
