ENVY’S MATT SKILTON WINS RTS AWARD FOR BEST SOUND

The winners of the RTS Craft & Design Awards 2010/2011 were announced last night. The ceremony was held at the Savoy, London and was hosted by Myleene Klass. The RTS Craft & Design Awards recognise the huge variety of skills and processes involved in programme production, from costume design and digital effects to editing and Sound.


Matt Skilton, Paul Paragon & The Sound Team won their Sound Award (Entertainment & Non Drama) for Wootton Bassett: The Town That Remembers, BBC Bristol for BBC One.


“The judges were extremely impressed by the unique sound treatment of this show. It conveyed the mood of the day perfectly, whilst demonstrating superb technical ability in difficult circumstances. It gave an intimate insight into the story of repatriation in a moving way, achieved on the whole by the superb soundtrack.”
